Bari & Lecce

Day 1: Upon your arrival in Bari, our driver will greet you and take you to your hotel. If time permits, we can recommend optional excursions for you to consider on your first day.

For groups of up to three people, we highly recommend indulging in our delightful Fiat500 Tour experience, creating lasting memories on the road.

Day 2: After breakfast, meet your guide and embark on an exploration of Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city. Discover the revered Basilica of San Nicola, the magnificent Cathedral of San Sabino, and the charming Arco Basso, where you can witness locals skillfully making Orecchiette pasta. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture as you visit Teatro Margherita and Petruzzelli. Along the way, indulge in local products, sampling panzerotti, focaccia, Peroni, popizze, taralli, and more! In the afternoon, we will take you to the enchanting town of Trani, renowned for its picturesque waterfront, Romanesque Cathedral, and Swabian Castle. Relax and unwind before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast, we will transfer you to Polignano a Mare, where you can wander along its panoramic terraces. Then, we will proceed to Monopoli, inviting you to explore its charming narrow streets and stroll along the beautiful waterfront. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will visit two characteristic villages: Alberobello and Ostuni. Alberobello offers the opportunity to visit the distinctive trulli houses in Rione Monti and Rione Aia Piccola. Ostuni, known as the “White City,” will enchant you with its white lime buildings and ancient olive trees. Return to your hotel in Lecce.

Day 4: After a delightful breakfast, we will transfer you to Lecce, referred to as the “Lady of Baroque.” As you pass through Porta Napoli, you will be immersed in a world of ancient palaces and vibrant papier-mâché workshops. Explore notable landmarks such as the Basilica of Santa Croce, Piazza Sant’Oronzo, the Amphitheater, and the Carlo V Castle. You’ll want to remember to stop at a café and order a Pasticiotto, the famous pastry of Lecce, as well as a “caffè Leccese” which is the delicious local coffee. Enjoy a leisurely lunch before venturing to the enchanting town of Otranto, known as the “Port of the Orient.” Discover the captivating monuments within the town and make sure to visit the stunning “Bauxite Quarry,” a former mining site transformed into an emerald green pond. After our exciting day, we will take you back to rest at your hotel

Day 5: After breakfast, prepare to discover the southernmost point of Puglia and the heel of Italy! Santa Maria di Leuca will enchant you with its timeless beauty, showcasing “bagnarole,” waterfalls, and its famous 286 steps. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will visit Gallipoli, known for its stunning beaches, vibrant fish market, and remarkable monuments. Conclude your visit with a delightful aperitif. Return to the masseria.

Day 6: After breakfast, you will have free time to relax and enjoy at your own leisure. When you are ready, we will arrange a convenient transfer to the airport or train station, ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey. Cherish the memories of your stay and the moments of tranquility you experienced throughout your trip.
